Most of BHA’s Education and Civic Sector projects involve complex multifaceted corporate Client / User Groups and require the detailed design input of a large consultant team.
Our team has developed very effective procedures for managing the client briefing process and ensuring that complex consultant teams are coordinated in action and output.
For example, our recent projects include work for the CSIRO divisions that are composed of up to 30 research groups working semi-independently; and at North Head for the AIPM where the complex heritage, environmental and operational needs have resulted in a design team of over 20 individual disciplines. In both cases BHA have successfully delivered successful design management and fully documented designs for lump sum contracts.
We will establish a consultative client process based on a series of Briefing/Design workshops which will involve all nominated stakeholders. We have learnt that this approach is invaluable for Library/Information Centre/Student Centre projects.
