New Orange Conservatorium project achieves Council approval

The new $20 million conservatorium and planetarium project in the North Court precinct of Orange, has received the support of Orange City Council. The development, proposed for a site alongside March Street, includes a 3535 square-metre building which will contain: • 40 practice rooms, ensemble rooms and rehearsal spaces • A 250-seat recital hall • A 70-seat planetarium auditorium • Front-of-house facilities including foyer, bar, kitchen, ticket office and amenities • Back-of-house facilities comprising loading dock, stores, performer amenities and plant. BHA have assisted Council to reach this exciting milestone.
